One hundred Christmas cards with the picture painted by 8-year-old Roma Pawlienko, held hostage by terrorists in Bieslan School, were sold by pupils from Middle School number 2 in Mlawa.
Students, teachers and other workers at the school bought cards. The cost of that card was only one token zloty. We received cards from the International Centre for Information Management Systems & Services (ICIMSS). ICIMSS took part in an auction of pictures painted by children from Bieslan and they auctioned a picture of an evergreen tree. - From this picture we've created a Christmas card. Income from its sale will be dedicated to supporting injured children, but not only from Bieslan. We have sought support from Polish radio and we are going to talk with TV and newspapers, too. (We have talked about patronage with polish radio, with TV and newspapers, too. - and ICIMSS representatives have written to pupils from 2 Middle School in Mlawa. Here carers of School European Club, Ms. Ewa Kowalska and Ms. Joanna Wydra, lead that activity. Cards were sold by students from class II a. Income was deposited in an account for child victims. Money will be dedicated to children from Bieslan - contact Ewa Kowalska, a carer of School European Club in Middle School number 2 in Mlawa.
